Danny “Bboy Lissome” Guzmán

Danny was born in Fitchburg, MA in 1987. He began dancing at the age of 3, however, Breaking a.k.a. "Breakdancing" since 1997. His older brother, “Tek-1”, introduced me to this art-form. Everything was self-taught when he started, along with the occasional tips from his older Crew members.  At such a young age Danny was taught to be self-sufficient, persistent, dedicated, and more. As a Hip-Hop practitioner, he's learned that contributing to his success on and off the dance floor is very important. His journey as an instructor began in the Fall of 2009. In 2010, he received a United Way Community Builders Award. Since then he's performed for Mayor Mazzarella and other State Representatives, NASA, several local parades, and annual festivals. He has taught at many prestigious Universities in New England. He has also competed in Canada, Mexico, and all over the U.S.A. which has been a humbling experience in itself. Danny is a student of this culture providing the best possible guidance as it has been passed on to him.
